Lisa Dawson served as the Columbus Baptist Association Ministry Assistant for twenty year, before retiring in June 2024.   Lisa and her family moved to Columbus in 1998 from Florida.   She is married to Randy and is mother of two daughters, two son-in-laws and is the Nana to two grandsons and four granddaughters.

Lisa and her husband, Randy, are members of Wynnbrook Baptist Church where they lead a Special Needs Ministry for adults. She enjoys reading, and spending time with her family.  Her life scripture verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Christian Women’s/Men’s Job Corps of Greater Columbus provides a Christian context in which women and men in need are equipped for life and employment and a missions context in which women help women and men help men.

We are a nationally certified site of the CWJC, a ministry of Woman’s Missionary Union.

Mobility Fest

Christian Women’s/Men’s Job Corps of Greater Columbus participated in the Pedal-A-Thon for Mobility Worldwide. This cart was designed and decorated by the students. Following this event the cart was sent to Kenya for someone that does not have mobility in their legs. This allows them to navigate around in their communities. Thank you to all of those that donated towards this cause.

Consider how God might be calling you to be involved in this ministry in our community:

  • Become a Bible leader and/or GED instructor
