Associational Mission Strategist

Tim transitioned into this role with the CBA in January 1, 2025, after serving as pastor of Britt David Baptist Church here in Columbus for the last twenty-five years. Prior to that, he pastored Highland Baptist Church in Griffin for eight years. Tim is originally from Columbus and was saved and called to ministry while at Gentian Baptist Church. Tim married Deena in 1994, and they have two children: Alex Jones and Julianna (Parker) Younce.

The Bible verse that changed his life forever is James 1:22 – “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
